Darwin has got nothing on this puppy.
After being run over at 50 miles per hour on route 44 in Massachusetts the small white poodle mix was found not only alive, but trapped inside the vehicle.
The driver checked the scene after he thought he had hit the dog, but when he found nothing he assumed the dog made it safely across the road. However, 11 miles later another motorist alerted the driver that there appeared to be a dog stuck in the front grill of the car. The driver drove quickly to the East Providence Police Department and with the assistance of animal control the dog was removed from the car and taken to an emergency clinic.
The dog did have a concussion and a minor bladder rupture but is otherwise safe, happy, and wagging her tail. The East Providence Animal Control Center is now searching for the owner and asking anyone with contact information to please notify them as quickly as possible at either their number 401-435-7675 or email them at [email protected]
Although if the dog is any indication as to what the owner is like, this search will take no time.
