No better place for an epic, drunken brawl than at a wedding, right? Last night at the Sheraton Society Hills Hotel in Philadelphia, two wedding parties broke out in a fight that led to one man dead from a heart attack and three other men were taken into custody!
The altercation took place after one wedding party attempted to crash another wedding party in the same hotel for the free bar. Police still have very little information as to what directly caused the violence, but the fight escalated to the point that officers at the scene had to call for backup, Twice!
Reportedly, the one of the three men taken into custody can be seen in the video being beaten with a baton by a police officer, and he is being charged with assault on an officer. The two other men arrested were later released with citations for disorderly conduct.
The boy recording the video, Mark Schultz, was actually celebrating his 15th birthday at the hotel, and was not a part of the two wedding parties. Also, the man that died from a heart attack was also celebrating his birthday at the hotel, was not a part of either wedding party.
The entire event is still hazy to officials and they are currently getting statements from the wedding parties so they can piece together whatever exactly happened last night.
