In a recent study, scientists tried to conclude the top 5 leading external causes of injury mortality. Basically, any injury not caused by illness, infection, virus, etc. The study was from 2000-2009, and researched showed that mortality rates for unintentional poisoning have gone up 128%, unintentional falls by 71%, and suicide by 15%, that’s insane!

Females have a lower chances of injury mortality than men, probably cause men have a tendancy to be more of a driving risk.

Hispanic and African Americans have a lower rate of mortality in traffic accidents/suicides, overall Whites have a lower injury mortality rate.

What are the causes of this increase in injury mortality over the past 10 years? Could it be the food? Global Warming? Drugs? Rock ‘n’ Roll?
