Mitt Romney’s campaign is in the middle of damage control as an online blog accuses the presidential hopeful of using a ‘cheat sheet’ during last week’s debate with President Obama
The liberal blog called the Daily Kos reported that Mitt Romney had pulled what appeared to be a sheet of paper from this front right pants pocket and had screenshots of him dropping the “paper” onto the podium just before the beginning of the debate.
According to a Romney aide, the object in question was simply a handkerchief and nothing more. That hasn’t stopped many of the blog sites that have picked up the story from agonizingly analyzing each frame of the ‘incident’. Claims from handkerchiefs are not kept in the front pocket to the object looks to fall in a way that is unnatural to paper have been fluttering back and forth within the democratic community.
These rumors seem to have finally been dispelled when a shot of Romney using the handkerchief was posted.
