The Grand Theft Auto series has always been a staple in pop culture and the video game world since GTA 3. It defined the open world genre and scared parents enough to get every kid in America to play it. It may have given Jack Thompson something to talk about until he was disbarred, but I think that it’s the definition of freedom of expression in video game form and it should be played by anyone who can legally purchase it.
The trailer, released earlier this year, gave gamers a look into Los Santos and a possible look at some of our favorite protagonists from previous GTA titles.
Rockstar is going to keep us in suspense until November, but until then you can check out GTA 3 on your iOS or Android devices.
