Kotaku got there hands on the specs for the new Playstation gaming system and gave a pretty thorough run-down of what to expect for the new controller and user accounts.

The name of the system has not been confirmed, but here are some of the preliminary specs for the new Playstation system are as follows:

- Video Memory: 2.2 GB
- CPU: 4x Dual-Core AMD64 “Bulldozer” (so, 8x cores)
- GPU: AMD R10xx
- Ports: 4x USB 3.0, 2x Ethernet
- Drive: Blu-Ray

THE CONTROLLER
The controller has been rumored to have the same features as the DualShock 3 and Sixaxis controllers. It seems to have the standard 4 iconic face buttons, shoulder toggle buttons and the two analog sticks for its predecessors, and a move improved motion control, similar to the Playstation Move.
There are also rumors of there being a share button on the controller, but it is still unclear as to what its use is.
There is also talk of the control having a Game Pad similar to the PS Vita.
ACCOUNTS
From the specs, Kotaku reported that accounts could be attached to a specific controller and be taken anywhere. So if you wanted to play with your friends, you could just bring your controller to their house and sync up your controller to their console. No more having to sign in and out of every system you want to play on.
Also, if you were to sync your controller to another device with your account, all the achievements you unlock on that system also go to your account. Genius!
That is all for now, and be aware that all these features are able to change over the next few months, but we will keep you posted!
QUESTION:
Are you guys excited for the Playstation 4 and what features would you like to see in the new system?
