Tom Anderson, creator of the formerly popular social network MySpace, has been a bit sassy as of late on his twitter account.
Anderson decided to chime in his opinion on the controversial changes to Instagram’s terms of service and voiced it on twitter. Stating, “People keep asking, so I’ll say it: fear over Instagram’s terms change is ridiculous. Get real folks!” prompted a swift response from twitter user Polo Tapia.
Tapia responded to Anderson’s tweet and retorted, “Says the guys who can’t keep a social network alive”.
Anderson then rebutted, “Says the guy who sold myspace in 2005 for $580 million while you slave away hoping for a half-day off.”
Since the exchange, media has come out of the woodwork to point out the wrong doing on Anderson’s part. However, it has to be expected that when you troll, you can be trolled just as hard back.
Tapia has since deleted his twitter account, leaving Tom with the last word:
“the guy I answered back deleted his account. does that mean I win?#winning #myspacetom“
Nation,
What do you think? Did Tapia get exactly what he had coming to him or is MySpace Tom just a douche nozzle?
