A Hot-Air balloon in the Festival of Myanmar catches fire, then all hell breaks loose.
Let me warn you now, this video is terrifying. At first it seems very tame until the balloon hits the ground and everything blows up in beautiful fireworks that should be in the AIR and not the ground.
The Hot-Air Balloon Festival of Myanmar (aka Burma) attracts visitors and crowds from all over the world. In that aspect this year was no different than the others. People competing to see who crafted the best hot-air balloons, amateur balloon lovers competing to ride on them, everything was normal. That is until a wavering balloon landed prematurely and exploded in bright celebratory hell-fire.
The balloon in the video caught fire in a crowd of people and they remained standing and watching as it burst, lighting it’s explosive payload. People were cheering. They were getting closer to the display as it went off. They basically honey-badgered the whole event.
I was terrified just watching this.
