Homosexuality is a “hot button” topic all over the globe, some countries being very progressive in the ways they handle homosexual rights, others still a little behind the times.
This morning, Cecil Chao, a 76 year old millionaire business tycoon from Hong Kong, offered up a $65 million (HK$500 million) reward for any man who could court his 33 year old lesbian daughter, Gigi.
Chao stated that “Gigi is a very good woman with both talents and looks. She is devoted to her parents, is generous and does volunteer work.”
Hong Kong is a very socially conservative society that only recently decriminalized homosexuality in 1991, but still does not recognize homosexual marriage.
Reportedly, Gigi married her seven year partner in France earlier this year, but Cecil refuses to recognize or comment on the news.
The situation is very complicated, but I am sure that there are men out there that are willing to attempt to swoon Chao’s daughter.
