I loved Christmas morning when I was a kid. Heck, I still get excited about Christmas morning.
… Waking up really early, the smell of Christmas in the air, waiting for your parents to wake up, looking for evidence of Santa, studying the shapes of the gifts and try to guess what toys were inside…
Guessing the contents of the presents Sheeba Anderson got for her foster children would have been a tad more difficult than expected. Anderson was pleasantly surprised after finding a gun in her foster child’s Christmas gifts.
A week prior to the incident, Anderson picked up two bags of pre-wrapped Christmas gifts from St. Anthony’s Church in Soho. The gifts came from the Edwin Gould Services for Children and Family nonprofit, a group that individuals can donate gifts to those who have fallen on hard times.
On Christmas morning, little Natasha Brunson excitedly tour open her gift, which should have been just a teddy bear. When Natasha discovered the gun, and shouted:
“I heard her say, ‘Look, Miss Sheeba, I found a gun!’ She was waving it around and playing with it,” Sheeba Anderson stated.
Natasha was not scared, but Anderson was furious and began examining all the gifts for any other hazards. Luckily the gun was missing it’s firing pin and was not loaded.
St. Anthony’s came forward stating they have no role in providing or searching the gifts for dangers, and the Edwin Gould Services have not released a statement or responded to any news source.
SO QUESTION:
When did you guys release that Santa wasn’t real?
