Just in case you were worried, Google has not gotten lazy at all about its mapping system as it’s set to give street view one of the biggest updates it has ever undertaken.
The update would refresh roughly 250,000 miles of road imagery and double the amount of special collections.
Some of the new “attractions” you can visit from your computer monitor will now include Catherine Palace in Russia, Stanley Park in Vancouver, and Singapore’s Fort Canning Park. So you can get your fill of culture from the comfort of your home or from your cubicle as you plan your next vacation on company time.
Here’s also hoping there’ll be some more awesome photos of people tripping and falling right at the street view camera rolled by.
Are you excited about the update that Google is set to do?
