What do the San Francisco Giants do after spending the whole night celebrating a victory?
Plan for more celebrating!
Last night the San Francisco Giants completed their brisk sweep of the Detroit Tigers in the 2012 World Series with a 4-3 extra-inning win.
Early this morning it was announced that the city of San Francisco will hold the victory parade for their World Series Champion Giants on Wednesday, October 31st.
This could prove to be convenient or problematic for some fans planning on attending the parade.
Do they wear their Halloween costumes? Or should they just don their championship gear? Or should they put on a Giants jersey on top of their probable PSY costume?
Either way, I’m sure lots of fans will find themselves in situations similar to this:
Giants Fan #1: Hey dude, what are you dressed up as?
Giants Fan #2: Well I’m wearing this panda costume and am eating this triple crown, so I’m Most Valuable Panda: Pablo Sandoval.
Giants Fan #1: Oh nice. I couldn’t think of anything so I just re-used my old Brian Wilson beard and put on a Hawaiian shirt so I’m Brian Wilson the pitcher, and Brian Wilson the Beach Boy. So it’s like Brian Wils-inception.
Giants Fan #2: That’s stupid. What do you think that guy is?
Giants Fan #1: I dunno, he’s wearing a Tigers uniform, looks very sad, and is being beaten with a broom.
Justin Verlander: I’M A METAPHOR FOR DETROIT!
Giants Fan #2: Huh. Weird. Wanna go get some Rice-A-Roni?
Giants Fan #1: Hell yeah! (high fives)
Question: What are some of your favorite sports-related Halloween costumes?
