On April 27th, Vimeo user Gil Plaquet tied the knot. To film the ceremony from a different point of view he mounted a camera in his wife’s bouquet.

The video was shot on a Go Pro Hero3 mounted on a handheld monopod that Plaquet had incorporated into the bouquet.

The US Government has formally admitted that during a drone strike in 2011 in Yemen, 4 Americans were killed.

A letter addressed to leading members of Congress from US Attorney General Eric Holder was just obtained by the New York Post, stating the Obama administration intentionally fired upon and killed Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki.

The letter also stated that 3 other men were killed in the blast who were not targets: Samir Khan, Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, and  Jude Mohammad.

It is odd that this letter is released the day before President Obama addresses the nation about national security and counter-terrorism.

It has been reported that earlier today, two men were shot by armed police after attacking, beheading and then dumping the body of a soldier in the streets of Woolwich, England.

The two men were reportedly shouting, ‘Allahu Akbar,’ and coupled with this statement one of the attackers made in a video, this is being labeled as a ‘Islamist terrorist attack.’

The victim was reportedly returning to a nearby military barracks.

One witness spoke with LBC radio, stating:

“We saw clearly two knives, meat cleavers, they were big kitchen knives like you would use in a butcher’s, they were hacking at this poor guy, we thought they were trying to remove organs from him”

“These two guys were crazed, they were not there, they were just animals. They then dragged him from the pavement and dumped his body in the middle of the road.”

From what we can gather from witness reports, the two men were in a blue car with the victim and they crashed the vehicle. The two attackers pulled the victim from the vehicle and proceeded to stab him and beheaded him. They then dumped his body in the street and stuck around talking to people and cameras. He spoke very calmly to the people the started to approach the scene.

It took the police 20 minutes to arrive at the scene, and information on whether or not the men were killed in the shooting has been released yet.

In the wake of U.K. officer Lee Rigby’s murder, media outlets have called for donations to be given to Help for Heroes, the charity Rigby was representing when he was attacked. Muslim leaders in the U.K. have openly condemned the attack that left the military official mutilated on the streets of Woolwich.

Lord Reid, the former Labour home secretary, has said the government should revive plans to extend internet and email monitoring powers to the security services, in an effort to prevent terrorist attacks such as the one perpetrated yesterday. Nick Clegg prevented a similar motion before the Queen’s speech earlier this month. Britons have been encouraged by the Prime Minister to carry out their lives.

Both suspects survived being fired upon by the police and are in police custody. The assailant captured on camera has been identified as 28 year old Londoner Michael Adebolajo.

New data from the Jaison Able and Richard Dietz of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York has revealed that only 27% of college graduates have jobs related to their majors.

Of the vast majority of U.S. college graduates, only a paltry 27% manage to find and work in jobs that are related to the degrees they majored in. First off, the unemployment rate has remained well below average since the recession hit.

Then the authors estimated that 73% of college graduates did not end up working in a field that was closely related to their major.

However, for those of you graduating and looking to work in a job related to your studies, the chances are higher if you move to a larger city where there are more job openings. In large cities there is a wider variety of job opportunities as well, many that cater to specific skill sets.

For example, the odds of finding a job related to your major in New York City are 6% higher than if you were looking for a similar job in Syracuse.
