Batman Screws Up Crime Scene, Gets Arrested

First off, I’m gonna say it: Adam West Batman is the worst Batman. Yeah, I know all about Clooney and Kilmer. I’ve seen the nipple costume. I’m aware. But West is the worst and those who disagree are wrong.

So it’s double-annoying when we hear about a story of police attempting to chase after a hit-and-run suspect, only to be derailed and distracted by a guy in a Batman costume — and it’s the bullshit Adam West version.

Michigan state troopers arrested 33-year old Mark Wayne Williams after refusing to leave them alone while in pursuit of the suspect.

Apparently, while attempting to help — despite cops going “no, we got it, stop it” — he ended up distracting the dogs who were tracking the suspect.

Sgt. Jeff Gorno of the state police said: “He wouldn’t clear the scene, and we had a canine out there and he kept screwing up the scent. We didn’t want the dog to track Batman instead of the accident scene, and he was getting in the way of officers who had a job to do.”

Batman helps Jim Gordon. He doesn’t hinder him. When Gordon says, “I got it,” and you don’t know something Gordon’s missing? Get out of the way.

Look at this guy:

Adam West costume? Long hair? Sweat stains? This is not Batman. I met a real life Batman. He was in the Adam West costume, yes. But when ruffians came up to him on Hollywood Blvd., pushing him around, he told others stepping in to help not to do so.

And then, when they got too violent, he handled his business: three grown man children on the ground, without causing any permanent injuries, and all Batman got was a torn costume. Which he should replace with a better one.

That’s Batman. Get it together, dude.

Question: Who was the best Batman? Also, who would you like to see as Batman now that Bale’s done?
