I won’t say that I’m a fair fighter. I’m not the most athletic person in the room. I’ve got to equalize.
But there are rules, folks. Rules.
In Dallas, a drunk-ass teen did not learn the rules, and ended up grabbing a cop’s testicles in the middle of a scuffle. He was not gentle. So the cuffs got slapped on this madman.
First off, I understand that at 19, you are technically an adult. But there is no way the paper should be calling this person a “man.” This is a boy at best. A boy who needs to learn that there are just some things you don’t do in a fight.
Cory Weddington III got tossed out of the Havana Lounge in Dallas, Texas, drunk off his ass and super underaged. When that got discovered, he was naturally told to leave. He refused to leave the premises until he got his card back, which was reportedly still inside the club.
(Side note: You’d be surprised how often you could get belligerent drunks to leave if you’d just spend thirty seconds to get their card back. Seriously, bar owners. Those guys just have to have one mini victory.)
After finally leaving and then coming back around 3 am, he tried to force his way back in, which obviously does not go well. Police are called. Cops give him a chance to have friends help him. Probably, “hey, let your buddy go in there and get your card.” Or, “hey, let your friend drive you home or this will get ugly.”
Weddington apparently couldn’t see an arrest staring him in the face, and he continued to get belligerent. The cops arrest him for Public Intoxication.
As the officer tried to cuff him, the teen got even worse. When the scuffle dropped them to the ground, Weddington grabbed the cop’s testicles and squeezed and twisted.
I give up, kid.
He resisted all the way to jail. Got uncuffed. Immediately started fighting again. Got cuffed again.
Dude, just know when you’ve lost and try not to make it worse for yourself.
The unnamed officer received minor injuries. Because someone grabbed and twisted his balls.
