So, the Hurricane Sandy relief concert has about everyone. We’re just going to take a look at who’s showing up to the 12-12-12 concert and have some fun, here.
The concert, called 12-12-12: The Concert For Sandy Relief, and benefits the Robin Hood Relief Fund, which is in the process of helping out those affected by Hurricane Sandy. With it getting colder by the day, those whose homes were completely destroyed need help more than ever.
HBO is going to be broadcasting the concert tonight, and released this trailer:
AMC, IFC, Showtime 2, Encore, ION, MSG, Hallmark and FEARnet will also be broadcasting the concert, and online, you’ll be able to stream it live via Hulu, Crackle, EW. com, People.com and AOL.
You’ve got your typical benefit concert musicians — Coldplay, Bon Jovi, The Stones, The Boss, etc. Kanye’ll be there too. Dave Grohl and Chris Novaselik will be teaming up with Paul McCartney to bring Nirvana back with McCartney filling in for Kurt Cobain, which sounds like a ridiculously entertaining trainwreck.
Grohl’s actually been a special guest and drummer for McCartney on a number of his tours, so it’s not out of left field that Paul would do something for Dave. Also, Dave Grohl is a crazy person and probably just wants to upset Courtney Love as much as he possibly can. Because Courtney Love is insane and deserves it for a multitude of reasons.
Anyway, it’s going down tonight, so check out their site here and see if your favorite musician’s gonna be there. And, y’know, donate. Because that’s what they’re doing this for.
Question: Are you going to watch the 12-12-12 concert tonight?
